already have in my 210g: will transfer to the 190g
8" golden puffer
2.5" stars and stripes
3" toby puffer
3" flagfin angel
6" blue angel (in QT)
6" humu trigger
pair of GSM

I still want to add:

Emperor angel (juvi)
and maybe 1 or 2 other smaller fish
like a purple firefish or something similar.

what do you think of this stock list?
As for LR and LS, I am testing to see how much LR I need in my 210g (atm 100 or so lbs) to keep ammonia at 0ppm (I have another 160lbs in rubbermaid containers)
as for LS I was just going to sprinkle it to cover the bottom.

as for equipment:
BK Supermarine 200
50w UV
Area for cheato growth
I dose sugar every 2 weeks

why don't you keep the 210 as a FOWLR? what are the dimensions of the hex? in general, I don't like hexes because they don't usually provide enough swimming room. better suited for a reef and smaller fish, IMO. also, as tall, relatively narrow tanks, they often have dead spots - it's hard to circulate the water well. do you think you'll have enough length for the active swimmers?

also, on your stock list, I think the firefish will be toast.

Im confused...why are you moving these fish to a 190G hex? The 210G would be just barely enough for those fish at full size and a 190G hex seems way too small. What are the dimensions?

Like Lisa says, you loose all kinds of length usually in a hex. Not to mention they just always seem so weird for viewing fish...maybe better as a reef?

I am building an amazing walk around tank for my living room. I like the hex because it is different than your standard shape tank.
The hex is 48" long and 42" wide with a center overflow
and I really don't have any big swimmers.

as for flow I have one return with a Y, so there are 2 return flow lines. I have also been debating whether or not to put in a closed loop.
