190g reef tank fully stocked and now ich

I think my 2 clown and goby will survive. I'm just shocked why this happened. Does anyone buy fish and put them in TTM instantly

i always go straight to TTM after buying. have had around 95% success.

i do however use DT water, not that it should matter. you won't be able to use DT however since it is going through fallow and is currently infected with the parasite.

likely your issue stems from just too many fish. in a small space, even during a short QT cycle that TTM provides, stress is inevitable.

it is generally really tough to QT a group of fish, which is why properly QT'ing up front is critical when slowly adding a few fish at a time.

sorry to hear of all your losses.

WOW I AM AT SHOCK NOW. I decided to keep the kole tang and cleaner wrasse so i set up a 5 gal bucket. Air stone and heater. Put fish in their yesterday now this morning cleaner wrasse is dieing. Kole tang looks almost dead laying flat on it's side. I put just prime in the tank. What am I doing wrong?salinity was perfect checked it 3 times with a good refractometer that was calibrated.

So far I been having a 90 failure rate. And I'm doing everything what is advised here. Now I received a shipment of fish this morning and don't know if I should try TTM with them instantly. I have a 20 gal that I set up last night. It's not my salt that's for sure. It is mixed well over 24 hours.

i'm at a loss to help you. i did post in your other thread about acclimation for shipped fish. if you are indeed matching salinity, temp, pH, i see no reason why these fish are dying unless they are already sick with something like brook or velvet (neither of which i have any experience with whatsoever, i just know they are quick killers, as opposed to ich).
