If you can afford a fishroom go with that. You won’t regret it if you have space. You can automate the tank more, it’s much quieter when all the pumps are in the other room. Saves your back if you’re old. The list goes on. It usually is more expensive because there are more options. But who cares. Do it right the first time.

I vote for a fishroom too. When I had my 140 gallon, I put the sump in the basement and had a fishroom with a 120 gal sump and 50 gal refugium.

Thanks,it’s gonna be amazing when all done. I asked tank mfg, home builder, and floor guy that put in floor… they all told me it wasn’t gonna crack. I guess I will find out when it’s filled!! Fingers crossed lol.

Not much in progress, I have hit a reefers block and still figuring out fish room layout.

I’ve been really busy with work and other demanding projects around the new house, so tank has taken a back seat for now.

Leak test in progress, all is well. No leaks!

Finally decided on sump equipment, going all Deltec for everything. Should have those goodies arriving soon.

Stand is getting faced starting Monday. Very excited, things are moving along finally.
