Oh - and I also read in that same book that shrooms are another substitute host for clowns... who knows - they may try to host with those you already have? Also - I know one thing that breeders use but a lot of clownfish love - is a little terra cotta pot in the tank. I have one that I had cut in 1/2 and my clowns love it! They hang out in there together...

I do have a gray..a Timneh which is the smaller of the species. He's awesome..wakes us up every morning with "What am I getting today? I think I'd like some popcorn" HAHAHHAHAHA.

I think I'm going to go with a couple of very small perc or ossc clowns and skip the anem and see if they'll host in something a little easier.

I don't think it was prespawing behavior kimsie. She wasn't cleaning off rocks where they like to lay their eggs. She was just being a bully to my corals and slept at the surface of the tank at night. Sleeping at the surface of the tank really freaks a person out. Now in the 120 she sleeps on the sand cuddled up with the male...its so cute. I've had them for over a year..still no sign of eggs but she has started showing signs that she wants some thing to host. Like diving into algae and rubbing all over it like its an anemone. They don't have an anemone right now but they are getting one this weekend.
