I have a 150g tank that will soon become a mixed reef. It will be my 1st tank with corals, and I need suggestions for what I can keep. All of my parameters are good, 0 nitrates, 0 nitrites, and good calcium, and I have 65K, 250w metal halides with VHO actinics. Can you recommed some good, beginner LPS corals?

Frogspawn are nice and fairly easy . They like low to mod flow and good light. you seam to have the light down but i would change the bulb to a 10,14 or maybe a 20 k 65k to me woud be a lil to yellow. 10 k would be white, 14 and 20 k would have a lil more blue 20 being the blueist.
Trumpets are also fairly hardy and easy IMO.

dude you can keep almost any LPS with those parameters. LPS are fairly easy coral, the frist coral i added was a red gonipora when i tank was only 7 days old and it is still existing and has even grown a bit.

I had actually never heard of WAMAS. I have been looking for a marine aquarium society in the area for some time. Thank you for providing me with the link. I will see if I can make it next Saturday.
