Sounds like you’re on the right path. I tend to not test unless I’m having issues.
I had a horrible Cyano issue a while back that took a long time to get rid of. While chasing numbers, trying to get NO3 and PO4 to zero…I had no success. Then, I learned the zeros there weren’t the best. Brought them within the acceptable range and all’s good now.
