Thats a nice tank you have there! I like that colony of alien eyes.

Thank You! Since I have a 42 gallon I am trying to keep exotic Zoos.

what's the name of those palys on picture number 8,they are very nice;)
Thanks I never seen them before and to tell you the truth I do not know what those palys are named. Can someone please help me ID? Thanks:confused:

Hey- oldreefer 76 What is the differance between Sand or barebottom besides the obvious.I think my next tank set upis going to be bare bottom. thanks

BB are meant to run alot of flow I have 1300gph in my 15g try that with sand, the flow keeps the detrius suspended for your skimmer to take out of the water column, they are not for everyone they are a lot of work till every thing settles in and are much harder to keep parameters stable, but in the end for me it is all worth it

Looks a bit small for a tang...luckily I'm not the tang police. :) Looks great though...is that mushroom really that red?

Yes oldreefer I do agree it is more work but it does pay off!

When You guys say it's alot of work what exactly do you mean.
Thanks i want to know what i'm getting in to if i decide to go BB.
Let me Know.

reeftexas it is more than we can describe in just a reply you need to do the research, you will find alot of debate of sand beds vs bb and is alot of times just personal preferance, for me though it is the only way to go, have done both and for me bb works better
