Hey Bobby, have you had any issues with cyano while using the Reef BioFuel? That's my main complaint about the vodka, I hate cyano and stopped using the vodka after only a few days because it caused a huge cyano outbreak all over my sandbed.

I never used it. I tried the vodka for about a month and stopped.

Thanks all, I hope to be able to meet up with the club at the next meeting, although w/ it being at TFP, no chance to swap frags there.

Today is a sad day in my tank. In one of my Aquapods, my cleaner shrimp that I have had for a year just molted again, and I suppose one of its fish tankmates decided to take advantage of the soft exoskelton because I found my shrimp ripped in half just a few minutes ago. :(

As for corals, I just bought my first leather mushroom (Sarcophyton sp.) and figured that I might put just leathers in one of my Aquapods. The little thing is maybe 2" tall. I have a gorgonian or two; initially I was looking for corals that were seahorse friendly.

I feel strange writing here what corals interest me -- I don't want anyone to think that I am putting out a shopping list of what I'm looking for. But, of course, I do have a list of what I am looking for (don't most people?)

Right now, I don't have much in the way of corals, but I can not imagine maxing out on corallimorpharians or zoas. Although I eventually lost a small frag of stolonifera to persistant algae, I am a fan of clove polyps like Clavularia spp.

I am definately interested in Capnella (Kenya tree), and perhaps a colorful Sinularia frag, or perhaps a Nephthea. I might try an Anthelia frag... There are corals that I am interested in, but don't feel confident enough to pay retail for yet.

I have a small, but growing, Blastomussa frag and I would definately try another. I also have a Turbinaria frag, but I am not sure if it has grown (in the year or so I have had it, it has taken a tumble or two, and each takes a toll.)

Beware m0nk, I don't have a regular day job so you should carefully weigh any invites (i.e. I can make the time.)

Hi Elysia, and anyone else who is interested. I have loads of Kenya tree's free for the taking, and a number of large Sinularia's in customers tanks that need to be fraged, so let me know if you want them?

I can hook you up with some red or green or both mushrooms if you like. It is a wonderful time of the year, even the mushrooms are red and green!

Heh, it's no problem. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and would be happy to show you what I'd be willing to part with. I've got zoas (though some are spoken for until I can frag more), ricordias, spotted mushrooms, GSP, monti-caps, and more that you might be interested in.

I'm getting a frag tank setup, so if you want to wait a while too, I'll be getting, and then fragging, a bunch of rare and expensive zoas for a lot cheaper than I paid... they'll be ready to sell probably sometime in Feb. :D

Let me know when they are ready for sale. I am looking to add zoas here soon. I have been holding off to the normal colors, waiting for some nice ones. As for anyone else that has zoas for sale I would be interested in what you have.

I am wondering if there is any other fish shop in the Harrisburg area, other than TFP and Treasures? I am relatively new to the area and those are the only 2 I have found. I use to go to Treasures when Chris owned it and went back once and wasn't thrilled with it. Thanks

Will do, I'll hopefully have some zoas fragged from my own colonies within a month, but there are some really nice group buys that I went in on that will be shipped out to me in the spring.... 4 different rare or somewhat expensive varieties, and shortly after they're in my tank I'll frag a couple polyps to start growing out to sell.

Unfortunately, no, there isn't anything close. There was a place in Elizabethtown that shut down shortly after opening it's doors...
