1yr ago and today

Your tank is beautiful !!!!!
Can't wait to see our tank in a year or 2.
Can't believe the corals grow so well in a warm tank.
Great job!

Forgot to ask. What flow rate are your running on your overflow/sump and what other pumps are you using for flow? Do you use a wavemaker and if not do you turn off some pumps at night? We are working on flow on our tank just like to see what others are doing.
:)

I have tank envy....

It looks like you removed your leathers and is that GSP I see in the first tank that was removed too?

Do you have your returns routed to the front of the tank and point to the back? Any reason you did that?

Thanks for sharing your tank with us. Keep up the good work.

Cheers,
Chris

thaks so much for the info.

just wanted to make sure i was doing what your doing. i havent run carbon in a while either.

the calcium reactor seems like a nice investment..

so your refugium probably helps with any nuisance algae..
(thats my next goal is to get a bigger refugium

Sweet Tank!

Hey - how did you get that blue tang to stay in the same place/position all year? ;-)

I use a Pan World 100px-x for the return.
For flow in the tank I have 2 seio's 1 1100 and 1 1500 on a blueline tsunami wavemaker alternating pumps every 40mins 24/7

The return is piped along the back of the tank to the center brace. Then it runs up the center brace about 2/3 of the way to a T. I then have lock line routed facing the back of the tank. I did this because I wanted to get good flow in the back of the tank and through the LR with out having to add any pumps.

Very nice mature tank.....Love those caps, as well as other acro colonies. It's nice to see what some of my corals will develop into, assuming I can get growth, color, maturity, etc....LOL... Again, beautiful reef........

Very well done. I like the first pic, but the second is truly amazing. I love seeing dated pictures like this to show progress.
