I really dont know which Lights to go with on my 210gal, so I let the wife decide. She like the T5's better. So Im selling two 24 inch fixtures. They come with 14K Hamilton bulbs used for around 8 months--Per Seller, a 4" fan, and two 32W actinic bulbs. I never got around to getting a Ballast. Asking $225. for both. or $125 each. NO SHIPPING, pich up or I'll meet you somewhere...Thanks for your interest.

what's up cuz,
maybe i can buy the light but, my tank is a 2 gallon tank?
you think it might be a good idea?:)

I was going to use the Ice cap 660. But any 250W ballast would run these. I heard that Icecap extends the bulbs life a little more than any other ballasts.

TTRex94, if your serious let me hear what you have in mind, contract, or something. Thanks

RockStarFish, I really would hate to ship these. Too much glass, like I said it comes with a Glass shield that protects the bulbs. I wouldnt even know how to start wrapping these up. I'll keep you updated though...if I change my mind. Thanks for the interest.

I'm interested if u still have them...Can u pls asnswer a couple of questions? I've never used mh before, only pcs.

1. how big of a tank will 1 24" fixture support? how big for both? Will both be overkill on a 55 gal? will both be sufficient for a 5' long tank?

2. Do i need a separate ballast for each fixture or will 1 ballast support
both?

3. If the bulbs are already 8 months old then they will need replacing in around 4 months right?

Hey Seaduck, it really depends on what is your taste. I believe one 250MH would be sufficient enogh for a 55gal tank. You can always raise them up or lower them if you feel the light is too intense.
You will need two seperate 250W ballasts.
I heard MH bulbs last 2 years but you should replace as soon as the light starts changing yellow?? Im really not an expert and have never used these lights. Im going off of what I read on other threads. If anyone knows more info please chime in, and correct me if Im wrong. Thanks
