2.3mg Interceptor Tablot, how many into an 8g tank?

I have an 8 gallon QT tank setup, and I just put all my acropora into it to treat for red bugs.

I started with a 2.3mg interceptor tablet, and tossed that into the tank.

Problem is, eric bornman says we need 0.025 g per 10 gallons, while my tablets are 0.0023 g.

if I put in all 6 tablets, that would only amount to 0.0138g.

=(

any ideas?

Looks like a little less than .006grams of the actual active ingredient according to the first link.. They say 25 mg of the actual tablet but they said their tablets were 1g with only 23 mg of actual active ingredient and the other 77 mg were beef flavor :)

So if indeed your tablets are 2.3mg it looks like you will need 2.5 tablets for 10g's...

I'm only going on what your info sez and what the first post at reefs.org said..

I myself have never done the treatment but wish you luck in yours.. :)

It looks like he recommends 23mg for every 40g of water in the first link.. Wayland said he treated 150g with only .75 of a 23mg pill and he said that is 4 times the strength needed..

I'm not sure which is the way though.. Hope you can sort through all the data... :)

i think I got the wrong interceptor =( i got the one for small dogs! I'm going to crush them all into the tank and hope for the best =/
