2.5 setup: sump below or behind?

Im deciding whether or not to have a 12" by 3" by 5" sump below or behind my 2.5 aga.

If I went with the below sump all the eqipment would be hidden, plus have some room to put some testing supplies. I will put one way valves on all hoses running to the tank.

My only concern is that the sump below might look a little odd.

Any opinions and comments would be great.

wow a custom stand for a 2.5 what size is the sump.. makes all the diffrence here

go below it would look sick

You could go below but you would need to put the doors in the back and use custom molding from your Hardware store to make the base look good and not funny.

I'd probably go below too and do what Shook said.
