I have a 10 foot 300 gallon tank. I want to add a second Achilles Tang to the mix. I have one in the tank already, and would like to add my second that I have in another tank so that they each get the swimming room they need. The other tangs I have in the tank are; Chevron Tang, Yellow Hybrid Tang, Mimic Tang, 3 Yellow Tangs and a juvie Atlantic Blue. I don't have many other fish otherwise.....please give me your input or personal experience on having 2 Achilles in there......thank you so much for any input you have!

I think its a risky situation, I would quit while ahead, You seem to have one doing good, I would not chance another. You could very much stress both out and risk losing both.

I think its too small.

I know a guy in HK who have a school of Achilles and about 50pcs of Powder Blues, but thats in a living room pool.

I hate to have to agree with everyone but...I do.

You should be super happy that you have one happy achilles! It's awesome!

If you can afford to lose 2 achilles, go for it. You may get lucky. I'm an anomaly in that I have a pair of yellows, purples and sailfins along with 12 other tangs and they cohabitate well.

If i read your post correctly you have 2 achillies tangs in 2 seperate tanks.. in my opinion if they are doing well in thier current tanks i would leave them where they are
