2 anemones next to eachother

so my two bubble tip anemones have moved next to eachother and their tenticles touch eachother with no problems.

Are they going to sting eachother? my clownfish basically just moves across both of them like it is one anemone.

Yea, as long as they are the same species it won't matter -- color really isn't an issue in this case.

I have had two Haddonis touching each other without issue, and the same for two LTAs.

ok thanks for the link i will check that out. I didnt know about this issue, one is a regular BTA and the other is a more green BTA so as long as they are BTA i was wondering why they were stinging eachother. My true percula is spoiled rotton. She like to swim from one to the other, and she wont let the ocellaris anywhere near it.

one nice thing about anemones (compared to coral) is that if they don't like where they are, they'll move.

of course, it's also a downside to them, too, but...that's just part of the fun.

These anemones generally live in colonies anyways. BTA are often found in groups in the wild so no worries here.
