I was looking for this thread the other day and couldn't find it, glad you bumped it.

Anyway, this does appear to be HDPE so that's a definate plus, but I now wonder.... Is the top removable?

Also, you are a good 1.5 hours away from me. Do you know the cost to ship this barrel?
