does anyone have a way to drill the hole for a 2" bulkhead in a 55 gal glass tank I am moving and need a sump

Got a house in Mentor split lvl no way to setup 48x 48 tank with out some walls being cut so I am setting up a 180 going to clean and buff the 240 and maybe put in in a wall so you can see it in 2 rooms next summer I have to get a look in the walls before I do anything

how hard is it to drill a glass tank

The best virtue to have while drilling glass is patience. I have found that success will follow if you take it really slow and use alot of water to keep the bit cool. I usually take a hose and duct tape it to the glass so the water is constantly flowing over the drilling area. This helps flush the cut out too.

USE PLUMBERS PUTTY TO CREATE A DAM AROUND THE HOLE YOU INTEND TO DRILL AND FILL WITH WATER DONT FORGET TO PUT A BUCKET BELOW TO CATCH THE SLUG.
