2 candy's dieing...

lately both of my candy canes been dieing and im not sure why to be honest...

one candy just has been totally shrived up, and the other just isnt nearly as red as it was in the past kind of more a reddish brown color

Whats cal? And is the alk measured in DKH?

I'll assume your alk is represented in mg/l, and think it is low. What test kit was used? Also, get a refractometer, calibrate it, and figure out your actual salinity.

I agree that your alk is low. I think it's what killed my candy canes. I have a feeling they're more sensitive to low alk than other LPS.

ahhh ok i dont have a calcium test but i dont think thats a problem, i do have purple stuff on the side of the tank.

but those 2 candy's are the only lps i have in the tank i have some sps in the tank and a blasto seem to be fine... ugh...
