I have a 75gal tank with a LTA and a pair of Maroon clownfish. The clowns were introduced about 2 weeks before the anemone but they aren't taking host with it, is this normal? Also, could I have two anemones in the same tank with two pairs of clownfish? The other fish are the tank are a Bi-color Angel, Yellow Tang, Lawnmower Blenny, and 2 damsels.

Also....are there any clownfish that get large enough that a Volitans wouldn't eat them?

Thanks for the suggestions!

I personally wouldn't put another pair of clowns in a 75 with an existing pair of maroons, see that ending badly -- with just the maroons remaining.

As for the clowns being hosted, 2 weeks really isn't all that long --- it can take minutes, days, weeks, months......

Are you talking about in general or for the 75 for the lion fish? With what you have in the 75 already I wouldn't add a lion -- bio-load issues. As for getting eaten, it would be a risk with most clowns, they tend to be slow growers, and the males (( usually )) tend to stay smaller.
