2 Clowns Sick?

After feeding the fish today I noticed something on my pair of clowns.

Looks like a bite/pinch in the skin or sort of a blister back near the tail. Anyone know what this can be and treatment?

This is my female she has 2 on the same side one in the white and another right in the edge of the orange before the white band on her tail fin.

The Male also has a similar blister/skin protrusion on the opposite side.

These 2 seem to be the only ones with these skin conditions the rest of my fish are all healthy looking. Also the Clowns still have a very healthy appetite!

Thanks

11 Months now.

90 Gal tank has been running for 7 months now. I also have 3 Lyretail Anthias, Blue Reef Chromis, Yellow Watchman, Firefish and one Yellow Tang. The Clownfish are the only ones with the skin condition.

The only time I've encountered a blister or pimple like this it was on a new fish and it was the beginning of brook. Is it possible they received injuries from coral, LR or a sea urchin? Kind of far fetched that both got injured but stranger things have happened.

Not sure... They've been hosting a Frogspawn since I got them last February... That's where they sleep I thought maybe they got stung but why now?

I do have 2 Urchins but they have kept away from the frogspawn.

I saw another Blister starting to grow on the male by his tail fin today.

Could it be lympho? Or maybe emerald crap trying to catch one of these guys while sleeping?

3 emerald crabs, 1 porcelain crab, sea hare (died after 3 weeks in the tank), 2 urchins all in the last month and a half. Nothing for the past 2 weeks though.

I had the same thing. they were in quarantine for 30 days, put them in my DT and 12 hours later blisters started. after 2 or 3 day started getting better. and 8 months later they are fine. looked on line, LFS, museum of natural history (biologist there) no one could tell me what it was. hope it works out.

Did you quarantine any of them. If not keep a very close eye on them and be ready to move them into a QT and to do dips. As I stated earlier I had a fish that had a blister like this. It turned out to be brook that was brought in from an unquarantined sea urchin and the timeline was about 2 weeks. And just in case you didn't know velvet can remain dormant and fish are asymptomatic for 30 days..:uhoh2: Just be prepared to act fast
