So I did a few mistakes. Long story short I killed almost everything in my tank except the fish dealing with a Uronema outbreak. I used Chloroquine Phosphate to get rid of, which I heard is very hard on inverts.
I left my BTA in there just in case it had a chance of survival (as this is my only tank and I couldn't really move it anywhere). The next morning it was gone and the majority of the tank was dead.
I just heard that dead anemones are something you need to take out immediately as they'll cause an entire tank to crash. I looked everywhere and couldn't find it.
3 months later everything is looking better and I decided to get a new BTA. I go on a vacation for a week and give a person instruction on how much food to put in the tank.
Sadly they forgot how much food to put in, and overfed. This caused a chain reaction with the snails dying, to the shrimp and crabs, and then the new BTA disappeared to.
I'm perfectly fine with restarting, I'm just worried considering the fact two anemones died (bodies were never found), because I didn't think my 55g would be able to handle a 7-inch anemone and the affects it would have had on the bio-load after it died.
I was curious if I should do anything to treat the water and stuff like that. All the fish survived perfectly fine and those are really my main concern.
