2 drains 1 filter sock?

can you take the 2 drain lines from the HOB overflow into the sump and have them fill into 1 filter sock?

I'm looking for ideas because it is crowded in the first section of my sump with the skimmer in there also.

it shouldn't be a problem.. as long as the socks micro is big enough... and it'll depend on the amount of water going through.. most likely you won't have a problem..

I used to do that, but the sock got clogged twice as fast. Now I keep one drain socked and the other free flowing. Usually, they'll last about three days this way.
