Some type of montipora.. it is very rigid and rock in structure...not like any average orange/red monti cap

Unknown acro..its green, with blue tips at the ends of its newly formed branches

monti could be foliosa or hodgsoni, acro looks like divaricata maybe.

i gotta agree with the two Montipora IDs, leaning more towards M. hodgsoni.

As for the Acro, it is a little more difficult because each branch looks like a different species. it looks like it will need more time to grow out and develop a more definite structure.

Yea the thing is both were mis Identified by LFS. Monti was bought as 'red montipora', acro was bought as 'green slimer'...I knew they looked unique so I pounced on them. I have had the monti maybe 10 months and it went from half dollar size to about 4-5" diameter.

The acro has gotten blue tips, just from my switch from MH to LEDs...very odd, but cool.
