Need an ID on two pictures. I saw this hanging out this morning. It almost looks like my shrimp molted, but it's hard to tell.

I turned my pump and powerheads to do some spot feeding, and I just happened to catch this guy moving with my camera handy. I've never seen him before. It's maybe 1/2" to 3/4" wide. I don't have any crabs due to having corals, so this one spooks me a bit.

first pic is a shrimp molt, the second, the crab, gorrilia mabey, mabey emerald, dosent look green enough to be an emerald though.

It might be a gorilla crab. Looks like they aren't a good thing (meat in a jar is the best way to catch them?

Anyone else?

I have a question for you. What is the round transpirant ball in the picture of the shrimp molt? Bottom of the picture.

Green bubble algae.

I don't think It's a Green Bubble Algae, definately a bubble algae though. This algae is called Sailors Eyeballs (Valonia Ventricosa)

Looks like an emerald crab to me.

With the valonia, I've used a pair of tweezers at the base of it. I've also just twisted them and they sometimes come right off the rock. Just try not to pop it. If it is in a reproductive phase it will release spores. If it's not, then it's not a big deal. Too bad we can't tell when it's horny, lol.
