2 male Lyretail Anthias

I added 5 female Lyretail anthias to my 240 approx. 6-7 months ago.
About 4-5 weeks ago I noticed one had started turning a darker almost purple color. So I figured, it was the male of the group.
Then a couple weeks later there is another one that has changed to a darker color. Not the Red color like the pictures show on liveaquaria, but more of a purple.
They seem to hang on opposite ends of my 240 and seem to ignore each other.

The one on the left end of the tank has 2 of the orange females with him, and the one on the right side of the tank has a single female lyretail, but it's also where my 3 female Ingnitus anthias hang at.

At some point will they end the truce and fight to be the only male?

Another thing I noticed was the second one to change colors, changed fast ( 2 weeks) and is almost a solid color, where the one that started changing first is half purple and a pale color on the back half of his body.
Can there be a dominate male, subordinate male in a group?

There seems to be some success with keeping two males in larger tanks. I imagine at some point, the males will go at it for control of all the females though. Hopefully that isnt the case for you.
