I would keep Cupramine on hand for those fish that don't tolerate CP. Most fish seem to do fine with it, but you'll likely come across the odd fish or even entire species that can't handle it. For example, IME flasher wrasses don't do well with CP, so I'll have to treat them with Cupramine if the need arises.

I can't find it in Amazon

Anything else that someone can recommend that is really good for a dip? I would only use formalin as a last resort and a dip. CP theoretically should treat brook but I imagine if it's in a progressed stage Formalin in freshwater for a dip can likely increase the chances of survival and then continue the CP medication.

Highly unlikely Prazipro did this. It's one of the gentlest medications available for marine fish.

Regarding your LFS, I have experienced a similar dilemma. I was not satisfied with the condition of the livestock at most of my LFS, so I started buying online at LiveAquaria.com. I have to say that I have been extremely happy with my purchases there, and they offer a 14-day guarantee, no questions asked. I've had a couple of DOAs, but those are the exception, not the rule IME. You might give them consideration.

edit: just noticed you are in Canada...not sure if they ship across the border.

I've started "interviewing" different LFS' around my area. I think I found one that I like. He buys all his fish only from quality marine & only buys wildcaught if they can't be cultured. Everytime he gets new fish in, a new sticker with the QR code goes up so you can track exactly where they came from and when they were delivered.

Quality marine seem very reputable and they are MAC licensed.

Although it's a little more expensive, i'm willing to dish out the extra cash for reputable companies that are in the hobby to help preserve the environment.

I used QM as my wholesaler 20+ years ago when I did aquarium maintenance. They are outstanding for fish. If you buy from Liveaquaria (who has an outstanding reputation btw) you are essentially getting QM fish as LA is just the middleman.

Yes, I read that. Unfortunately live aquaria is not available in Canada. Lucky for me I met an LFS that only buys from QM. I'm chucking my old LFS and going to try this new guy.

March 5th my DT will be ready (72 days running fallow) and I will introduce my remaining ocellaris. March 8th I'm going to begin a new QT cycle with 1 true percula to replace the ocellaris and 2 bangaii cardinalfish. I'll ask this new LFS if he can place an order for cultured marine life and have it ready for me by my due date.
