2-part Bionic help - dino's

I've read on reefkeeping magazine that you can help defeat dino's by raising your pH/alk. Any thoughts on increasing my dosing of both the alk and the calcium of my 2-part Bionic to increase alk/PH? Should I just increase the alk of the 2-part and not the calcium part? Would this be safe?

I'd prefer not dosing kalk at this point.

Of course, I'll also try the std methods: 20% water changes, decreasing photoperiod, cleaning carbon weekly, siphoning, decreasing feeding.

When you find a method to beat them please let me know...I've been fighting them for 2.5 years in my tank.
