2-part dosing question

I've been dosing for about a few weeks now but I haven't gone through an entire gallon of the 2 part. I decided to measure my Mg and it was down to 1190. Should I be dosing Mg before I finish the gallon?

Also my usual dosing procedure is to add the calcium first wait about 10 minutes and then add the alk. Is this the proper procedure? I saw somewhere that they mention adding them at different times of the day, ie, calcium in the morning and alk in the evening. Is this necessary?

Thanks.

Magnesium "poisens" the calcium ion so that it does not precipitate on heaters ect as easily. Raise you mag will help keep calcium higher.

Yes. Try adding 1/2 of the Mg part when you've finished 1/2 of the 2-part. For me, that still wasn't enough. I add additional Mg as needed. I use 10:1 Mg for those extra additions.

No. What you are doing is fine.
