I started out with only one single polyp of Darth Maul and Chromis and have been feeding them a few pellets of marine one daily. I have 2 new polyps that have grown and opened in 10 days. Is this normal or am I lucky?
2 polyp growth on Darth Maul and Chromis in 10 days common?

thats really good growth coming from those, but then again your feeding so that helps out alot

I really hope so too. I got the single polyp on 3-7-10 and it already has four new polyps! Here's a couple of pics. Sorry my camera kinda sucks.

it is hard to see in the pic but the polyp on the bottom left from the large center is almost black in the middle, and the large one is almost all pink.

My little additive to food to all my corals that eat...
HBH SUPER SOFT with KRILL:
The Soft & Moist pellet food has proven to be a superior breeder conditioning product. The high levels of lipids and amino acids combine with the full compliment of vitamins and minerals allowing fish to prepare their system for the rigors of the breeding process with support for egg production, and by doing such, it seems to trigger the breeding instinct in many fish. The high attractant ingredients keeps fish eating throughout the breeding process and attracts even finicky feeders. The addition of the krill increases the enticement level of the pellets while boosting protein content and adding Omega 3 fatty acids in a highly digestible form. Research with aquaculture fish fed with krill hydrolysate showed better weight gain and higher levels of survival. A soft and meaty pellet food, which provides a natural and complete diet without cereals and cheap fillers. Totally unique in today's market!
Main Ingredients: Krill, Fish Meal, High Gluten Wheat Flour, Propylene Glycol, Fructose, Brewers Dried Yeast, Lecithin Dry, Bio-Red, Garlic Powder, Zeolite, Haematococcus with Vitamin and Mineral supplements added and Ethoxyquin added as preservative.
Guaranteed Analysis: Protein - 36%; Fat - 13%; Fiber - 2%; Moisture - 18%; Ash - 13%.
If it's LPS,palys/protopalys I just drop the pellet on it when all the flow is off. It's soft enough that the corals can take it in right away as it doesn't need time to soften up like hard pellets.
To feed SPS and fitler feeding type corals, I just ground it up by hand and place in the water flow ( skimmers off ) to allow them to eat.

Well the killer growth continues!! My darth maul has 12 polyps already and my chromis has 7!! I will keep you updated!

Wow, 12 now ? I was just about to post that my new nightmare paly's just shot out 3 polyps in a couple weeks. Awesome news man.
