2 Quick Algae IDs (should be easy)

If anyone could ID these, I would greatly appreciate it!

First one is on this acan frag, it's dark green and I haven't noticed it spread anywhere else in the tank, just on this one little spot.

Second is a short light brown colored algae. It's all over my sand and even grows over some snail shells that have been sitting in the sand for a while. However, the algae does not appear on my rocks much, if at all. Any ideas as to what this is? Diatoms, maybe? I could try siphoning it off during my next WC...

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Agree, first one look similar to some Cladophora sp. that I've got in my tank, also grows very slowly. Second looks like a variety of GHA.

Here's some of the Cladophora sp. in my tank for reference:

On the acan... Does it look like a fuzzy green texture? If so I would say green hair algae... It it looks like defined strands like Phobos' picture I may say it could be cladophora.

hmm well it doesn't look quite as thick as that cladophora, but it doesnt have the typical movement of GHA that I'm used to... side note, after inspecting the acan closer just now, I noticed some bubble algae :/

GHA on the sand is an interesting response, I run my refugium lights opposite of my DT and have chaeto in there, I would have assumed that would outcompete any GHA from growing in my DT. Not sure what I could try, maybe trimming my chaeto to let it grow better? It's huge right now....

Well, while getting the bubble algae off that acan I tried pulling the other algae off. It was really tough algae, I couldn't pull much of it off because of how tough and tiny it is. I've trimmed my chaeto down and I plan on lessening my photo period down to 8 hours a day (down from 9) and getting back on track with bi-weekly water changes (I've been slacking). Hopefully it will do the trick, thanks for all the input guys.
