2 seahorse videos that I made

I have a 45 gallon seahorse tank with a pair of dragonets in it.
Lots of zoos and more caulerpa than any tank should dare to have, but the pods breed like crazy and keep the horses fairly full.
Here are the two movies I made of them in the last week.
First eating at the station.

Second just hanging around.

That is part of the Mysis shrimp, all of them do it when they snick the food in. Strange isn't it!

only with frozen food, you don't see that when feeding live. Pete Giwojna has a write-up about it somewhere. i have a wacky theory that the excess particulate food matter that is expelled from feeding frozen is a contributing factor on why it's hard to maintain good water quality while seahorses are in QT.

nice video and pretty horses :)

LIVE PLANTS

LIVE PLANTS

WHERE DID YOU FIND ALL THE LIVE PLANTS FOR YOUR SEA HORSES I HAVE 13 OF THEM AND CAN'T FIND ANY LIVE PLANTS.

Redhot, I grow all of my own macro algae for all of my tanks. It is feather caulerpa and grape.
I have added some red grape also.
The pink you see are xenia.
I have piles of rubble in the front of the tank and the back where the pods breed like crazy keeping the horses happy. I also have a pair of mandrins in the tank that stay fat and happy with this setup.
They get frozen mysis 2 times a day and I do water changed once a week to keep up with the amount that they eat.
Here are the mandrins that are in the tank.
