The tank measures 72"x36"x27". Would it be possible? I'm in the planning stages now, and was wondering. One of the pairs I was thinking of was a B/W Ocellaris Pair.
The chances of issues lessen with that large of a tank, but but you would still have to think about how you would remove a pair if it didn't work out -- which isn't always fun.
I have a 210g and had 2 pairs from 2 tanks when I upgraded and was told it could be possible. I had a pair of black clowns of my wifes we had to keep and a mated and egg laying pair we also wanted to keep. Well it came down to if it didnt work and the females went at it COULD I get the one pair out of the 210 without tearing it all apart and would we possibly lose a fish in the battle if it happened........
We ended up selling the mated pair off and just with 1 pair in the tank playing it safe. The 300g is much larger but like even Toddrtrex said do you want to try and get the other pair out of it
