2 tangs in one tank?

waverz

Slave to the reef!
Ive got a yellow tang in quarantine, hes been in there for over a month, I've rearranged my display and was thinking about re introducing him when i introduce the rest of my new fish. Im getting a powder brown, think he will stand a chance against the yellow? If not i am going to bring him to the auction and try and trade him for something.

How big is the PBT on comparison to the yellow?

I have 4 tangs in my tank and they seem to do fine, no aggression towards any of their tankmates.

Was thinking about putting him in last, if i see him muceling the new guys around hes outta there.

My Powder blue and yellow tang get into it all the time but nothing much comes of it.

I also have a hippo tang in there to that niether of the other yellow tangs have issue with.

I do have a 150G to play with and feed alot so I don't know how there would react in the closer quarters but who knows

you should be ok i fyou put the PBT in last, as they generally are fairly aggressive, is it the white cheek PBT or the "REAL" PBT (i think it's like nigaracious or something)?

How about the orange shoulder i accidently ordered? There was so much stuff on this list i ordered an extra one...3 tangs in a 75? someones gonna call the tang police on me....i just know it.

all depends on the size of the tangs and what order you put them in there i have never owned a yellow but i can tall you for a fact that the PBT will rip **** up if hes in a bad mood
however they are pretty whimpy fish compared to and aggressive wrasse or something that can match its speed
in my 40 breeder i had a 2.5 inch 6 line wrasse who used to whip the **** out of my 4 inch PBT so it all depends.
Gl and if nothing else there are BIG tankx around here that can help if your fish decide to wage nuclear war.
