Anyone locally keeping acans? Are they overly sensitive? Anything beyond the basics I need to know? There are some beautiful color variations and I've been thinking about trying a couple of polyps.

I've always liked purple fire fish, but I've never seen one move. Do they have any personality? Are they at all active? I'm trying to avoid fish that live in the rocks that I'll never see and fish that just sit in one place and never move.

George(blugobi) has acans, and they all look really good..

Firefish are usually out and about unless they have more dominant playmates.. then they tend to hide ..they tend o postion themselves mid water and float there..

I have both a red and purple fire fish. They were a mid water fish until I bought a purple tang. The tang bullies all the fish and needless to say they along with my Banggai hide 90% of the time now.

Oh ya I also have some acans, simple colors red and like a silver color. Been growing like weeds. Spot feed every 2 weeks sometimes.

ive got alot of acans. and will take just about anything for lighting and flow. like dave said they will benefit greatly( and grow very fast) by target feeding them
