Glad it's working out for you. Not sure why it behaved the way it did with the display module.

Plenty of threads on interference here and what you can do to isolate it. Just spend a little time with the search tool and you'll find them. Also, if it's jumping around vs. just wrong, then search for the defer command and read up on that.

Would my EB8_3 being at SW Rev 009 and my EB8_5 being at SW Rev 008 have any cause in my various anomalies ?

IIRC, the difference between EBx rev 008 and rev 009 is support for the EB4 in rev 009, and there is no difference between the two for the EB8. But, it likely won't hurt to update that one on 008.

BTW, a standard Ethernet cable can be up to 100 meters long (328 feet) - 25' is fine.
