2 Wheels

ok, i didnt want to say, but some of us will be having a bad hair day at that meeting if we ride our bikes.

i wasnt going to go there but i knew someone would, i thought dave would already have some funny pic up here by now.

up date on the two wheels,i let a few of you know at the swap we would be taking our first short road trip as a familey sunday,we went to corinth then across to boilver to summerville then headed back home we put 150 miles on our bikes today,it was a good ride until we got about 5 miles from house. & a car pulled out from the right of use making a left turn toward us,he waited until we got right up on him to pull out, mike hit his breaks & caseys bike went one way & he went the other,i saw him sliding on the road & roll off into the ditch,i ran to the bottom & had his head in my lad befor mike could get down to us,the car that pulled out never came back, others stop to help, nothing was broke hes clothes was torn.there was no skin on his finger tips knees or elbows, the handel bars were bent, and casey road it home,he says well that was a learning exspearence for me,& wants to get back on his bike as soon as hes feeling better,i know as a mother i dont ever want to go through that again,

Wow. You really have to watch out for the idiots out there. So glad no one was injuried more than just some road rash.
Jay

i know we were lucky,it could of been alot worse, mikes ready to sell the bikes he feels like it was his fault,he said we patched him up today. next time a patch wont be enough,

Glad he is ok.

WEAR YOUR GEAR FOLKS!!!!!!!!!!!

Even if it is hot, leather gloves (thin batters glove won't help), a leather or textile jacket the ones with armor in the elbows is better, boots that cover the ankle and give support (hiking boots) and of course a helmet.

You guys should have called me. I live in Whiteville, you went through it but probably blinked and missed it.

i agree he had his gloves on that morning then took them off,the helmet did its job,he had boots,we will get him the right gear, hes skinny enough,me on the other hand has enough padding, but i dont want it scuffed up,so we will all have what we need befor we ride again,
