2 x ai nanos or ecotech radion

Hello,

Started up a new 40g breeder setup so I can do Sps on top with some lps on the sand and lower region. Was thinking on either two ai nanos with a controller over each island, or 1 radion in the middle covering both islands? Each island is like 15 x 15" rock reaches up 5" from the water surface.

My question is will montiporas, millipora, digitatas, stags, thrive and grow on the upper regions of the tank with the two ai nanos or one radion?

I know the color spectrums on the radion is awesome but I'm more concerned for the amount of light intensities these corals need.

Let me know your ideas. Just trying to do the best I can with led on a budget. I already have invested quite a bit on this project..

Kga943 is the light intensity enough to keep Sps on top and lps on the bottom? I just don't want to end up buying another unit to keep Sps. Maybe a par reading test would work on a 40g breeder. This would be great over the 36" spread.

have the ww models not come out yet? seems like they announced them 6 months ago or more? I haven't kept up with it since then.

yes you can keep sps and do a search on par readings on this sight you get good readings on tanks twice as deep as a 40b
