2 x DC8 on an AC jr?

The website shows 1 DC8 + 1 DC4 max = 12 ports. The DC8 shows it can be daisy chained for up to 32 ports. Is the 12 port a limitation of the jr?

Ok, so did some more research. 12 ports max, that's fine.

If I had 2 DC8s could I control 12 of the ports? The other 4 would be...always on or always off?

Hey that's a good question. That way I could get two DC8's and still use them when I eventually upgrade to the AC VII ...

I believe when I researched the same question it was determined that the remaining 4 ports would always be off. So I went for a DC8 and a DC4

You would not be able to control 4 of the 16 outlets, and they would default to the off state.
