Hey there! Well I'm not new to the hobby, but this is a newb question so I thought I'd post it here and Im in need of a bit of urgent advice!

Had to set up a tank in an emergency tonight, and only had one spare heater and it's kind of a crappy one. Nomatter how long I leave it and how high I have it set, I can't get the temp above 20 degrees.

I have just recieved 20kg of uncured live rock and had to set up this tank. Tomorrow morning I will get a new heater, but I was just wondering for now, just overnight will the live rock be ok at 20 degrees?

It will only be temporary.

Any replies soon would be greatly appreciated :). It is very late here in the UK and I would like to put it in before I go to bed, but not if I think it'll be a bad idea :(.

Please let me know soon

thankyou very much

Yup I'm veiwing celcius :)! That's what I'm asking, if it is ok for the rock to be kept at 20 degrees celcius for one night.

that'd be 70*F i think it would be okay overnight

68° ;)

I would think it would be ok. Really if you don't have much of a choice then there is nothing you can do but put it in anyway.

Thanks guys. Yeah i know, thats what I was thinking. Just wanted some peace of mind that I wouldn't be doing too much damage though.

Thanks for the very fast replies :)
