20 gal just getting started

Well 2 weeks ago i purchased my 20 gal, The lighting ins 2 65Watt Power Compacts. Sandbed is about 2-5'' deep in places. Looking foreward to getting some zoos and rics maybe an sps or 2 right next to the lights on top

and make sure its completely cycled before you put stuff in it

yea not understanding why the lightings like that, Its probably since my cameraphone got a really crappy lense.....Ill get a better photo up once my regular camera is done recharging

Ive let it cycle for about a week and 5 days but it still doesnt have the ammonia/nitrite levels that i would ever be comfortable with adding any livestock so the wait to put things in continues.

the amonia and nitrite should be at 0 before adding stuff. No matter what.

Was the rock cured or uncured?

it was cured....and yea i meant 0 when i said comfortable level..i learned that mistake the hard way when trying to finish the cycle my 75 with a trio of green chromis and losing 1
