20 long suggestions!

Hey guys I'm trying to decide what I should do here

I have a 36" 78 watt aquatic life T5 fixture. It overhangs slightly on the 30" 20 long, but it doesn't look bad and the bulbs cover the tank end to end. ATI bulbs

I have been offered a Catalina 30" 150 watt MH fixture

what would be better for the tank if I want to keep some softies, LPS and a few SPS as well?

Go with the 150 watt halide over a 29 gallon tank. 29 is same dimensions, just taller. You need more than 12 inch High tank for sps, especially since you're gonna have to place them up high.

The halide should be better suited for you

Id think a halide for a 20 long would be a bit much, unless you put it up at least 12" high.
