200 gallon mixed reef tang tank

Tried searching the forum, I am sure there are other threads with good information on them, but I cant seem to find them right now. My problem is my tangs are defecating white strings. I am guessing some king of worm, all fish eat great but don't gain weight I already feed spectra pure thera A. I have read mixed reviews about prazi pro being reef safe.... Does anyone know a reef safe medication. It would be impossible to get all the fish out of the tank without tearing it down. Thanks in advance. Jimmy

ok after doing some searching I am afraid to try Prazi pro anyone had any experience with making medication as a food with Metronidazole and focus? Just cant find straight answers anywhere. please help

I have used API's General Cure which is for internal parasites and the such on my DT and nothing but the parasite died. I used the recommended per gallon dose and then did the water change. Somehow a parasite got introduced and I had to dose the entire tank. This has prazi in it. Good luck.

You can use praziquantel powder and mix it in their food, reef safe

Thanks guys, I called one of the major reef supply sites and spoke with someone i really trust. He assured me he has mixed prazi pro directly into food for years with 0 problems.
