2000 Gallon Reef Pool

This has unbelievable potential.

Good luck with this project. This could truly be one of the best private setups in the world when you are done.

I would like to thank you for giving us this idea and share :)
My question is How did you connect the class with the pool walls?

I'm curious to see how the weather effects this tank, like rain. Now I know it rains in the ocean but a hurricane on the reef is such a small addition of water compared to a good storm over a 2000 gallon tank. Like a good storm and your tank overflows onto the beach changing your salinity level. Also pollutants in the rain will effect the system. ???

I think its in an enclosed glass house

The tank is covered by a glass house, the frame is builded by aluminium alloy to prevent rust.

Now there are three PJ pump from HAGEN (about 4000gph) to make flow, as the coral added, I think it need more power on flow.

The shallow area and the deep area is connected with a small route beside the "landing stage", so the fish could swim to both area if they want :-) The deep of shallow area is about 12-15 inch for sea grass, clam and anemones+clownfishs.

The front glass is connect with pool walls by silicone sealant (Dow Corning 995).

damn I can't wait to see this thing stocked. I love the concept of the deep and shallow areas.

Please post some pics of this beauty asap.
