2000 Gallon Reef Pool

I'll be starting something similar in size in 6 months or so...I'll be sure to post here when I do It'll be a basement tank roughly 11x5x6 with some variation of LED lighting...I had a 7x14 12" thick footing poured under the basement floor where the tank will go(house won't be finished until the 20th of this month) so not much to show yet

yeah would be interesting in seeing why it was taken down. If anything for others to learn from.

Thoughts that are going to my mind is either algae became to much of a problem to keep up with, or perhaps some critical structural issue (leaky pane, or maybe used regular cement for the walls)

Sorry for long time leaving ... I am extreme busy in these days, work over 14 hours per day :headwalls:

Now we have five 400W metal halide for this pool, and sun light is stronger than winter, the color of some SPS corals is great, but about 60% SPS is still in brown or dark color, corals begin to grow, all the fish is healthy, many living alga (Gracilaria and Ulva) and purple seaweed has been feeded every day.
