I lived in Indy for about a year 6 1/2 yrs ago. PA is on the east side of Indy. I visited them a few months after they had moved from the original building to the larger one (that they're in now?). It was mildy interesting and worth my time to drive over from the west side, but unless something has changed since that time, I don't think it's worth the 7 hr drive from here.
I didn't realize it was 7 hours! They told me it was more like 4 or 5. I think they have expanded a lot since you were there Allen. They consider themselves a major competitor of Fosters and Smith. Some of the other reef clubs did tours and they were impressed. I will ask my friends at CMAS and Rockford Club again to make sure it is even worth the trip. I wonder what kind of discount on dry goods we could get out of them??? If not I will think of something else to throw out there.
As nice as the "random rock" was that I got for my tank from Premium Aquatics, I'd LOVE to see what I could have gotten had I driven down and hand picked. (which I probably would have if it had been in the summer)
Too bad I'm not going to be around for the trip down. PA's always GREAT to work with (and I'm talking DFS-great) - it'd be nice to check out their place in person.
Can I officially take October then? I just want to make sure I have everything done. I am sure it will be by may but it will be pretty new yet. Let me know.
