2010 Frag Swap – a Digital Story!

Our story begins in February, when the Club met.

It was conceived, planned, and the venue set...

It all started the Day before, in an Empty Wing of the Agricenter...

(Cut to the "œBlues Brother's Movie")
MR. FABULOUS: It's a barn. We'll never fill it.
WILLIE: Hey! Where's Jake and Elwood?
BONES: They went out to do some more advertising.
CURTIS: We'd better fill this hall. A lot of young children are depending on it.

And so they came"¦

And the tables were set"¦

There were Girls to greet the masses!!

And the masses Did come"¦

And the Girls had Helpers, with the nerves of a Doctor...

And they were Nursed to health with nourishment...

And still the masses came"¦

And old friends were re-united"¦

Local Fish Stores set-up branch sales offices"¦

And some vendors were Hairy"¦

And still they came"¦

There were Soccer moms. And Keaton's mom.

And STILL They came...

Heaters were known to work too well, or not be used at all, with chilling results"¦

Deals were made by other Local Fish Stores"¦

And heretofore unknown Bear fan's united, ahead of a 3&0 start to lead the NFC"¦

Magnificent Corals were sold. And fragged"¦ And Sold"¦ And fragged Again"¦ And Sold Again!!!

And new Cabinets were built"¦ and new Logo's too!

And the masses gathered"¦

New Members decided to bag it all"¦

And little frags, grew quickly"¦

Some plumbers became carpenters"¦

There were high-notes, and a gflat"¦

There were Dahl's and Bikers with Tat's"¦

Some Fish were scared away by the Birds"¦.

The Hairy little frags were handled with surgical care"¦

Memphis Locals came to check it out"¦

And wee little ones were all about…

The organizers were a bit confused over the flying Gold fish…

While others were amazed at the Size of Some Fish…

The masses came in from different States…

And some recent trials, were made to relate…

The butts and the tummies had something the show…

And Sharks had to smile, at the friends they would know…

The came from Naperville, if you know were that is…

And the red herrings weren’t red herring’s at all…

The masses discovered, that this was the ticket…

And so they dug for a winner…

Some had a killer good time…

Some found the experience illuminating…

There was a nerve of suspense, as Tickets were drawn…

There was no Dodging the Winner…

Sponsors promoted their wares and solutions…

And Locals rewarded, took home those potions…

There were Surprises, inside those prizes…




Till finally, the small fry awarded the Grand Prize…

And some disbelief"¦

And then realization"¦

"¦but with a pledged of support"¦

A new Reefer was Born!

After all was said and done, and the Masses deployed, a celebration ensued, one of pure Joy!!!

Wow! Great story told with words and pictures.....hhhhmmmmm..........what do you do for a living?
It looked like a great time. So sorry I couldn't get there. Fortunately, Mike has a whole bunch (ok, ALL) of his best zoa frags left over so, I'm still able to pick up a few things from the sale for my tank.
