Hi Everyone,

The clubs next event is the Holiday Party at the Long Island Aquarium on Saturday December 8th starting at 7PM. As a reminder to the October meeting this year the club will be charging $20 per person, still a great deal for a catered dinner with open bar all evening.

As we've done in years past non members are welcome to attend, the charge for non member is still $50.

Lol. I knew that was going to be an open ended question. I was able to get an overnight sitter so I'm all set!

What do people typically wear to the holiday party? I know I've seen bowties at Nerac from Beaun which I think is awesome.

Casual attire no real dress code.

Is there music, Holliday raffles and that type of stuff? What time do the tank lights normally go out? So this is dining within the aquarium or in the tent? So we can bring some friends at 50 bucks a pop and just chill by the fish and sip adult beverages?


Is this a family (kids) type event?


Just curious if you have a full family club membership are the family members 20 or 50?

Background music from the PA system, we will have some raffle items but don't have the list yet. Tank lights start going out around 10 if I remember. Tables are all set up around the reef tank. Yes friends are welcome at the $50 rate.

I forgot to post this earlier but the holiday party is adults only. Member and spouse are $20, all other guests are $50

Yes you can, BUT if you are not a paid up member it's going to cost you the guest rate.
Any questions can be answered by checking your membership card, they all have an expiration date.
