Glad to see some items are starting to arrive. Wow, you got some additional goodies from Neptune... I like that shirt. The Marco rocks are very nice! I still have about 50 lbs that I haven't used. I am going for more of a minimalist look. Keep the updates coming

I'm doing the same thing Marty. I won't use all the rock that I have. I've got plenty from my 360g tank too. Just tossed it all into a trough and let it start to cure.

One of the things I had to do before the new tank arrived was to break down my 360 tank. I was already in the process of doing it as we are remodeling the office. Yesterday I got a chance to start removing rock and fish.

Took quite a while and I found a few pests. Put some of the old rock in with the new Marco rock to start cycling the rock. I've got tons of really nice rock to work with now.

Pulled out 5 or 6 Rbtas as well and have them in the pink basket

Anyone ever seen such large bubble algae?

And then there was this guy. Scared me half to death

Got my ecotech package in the mail today. 3 huge boxes arrived. Pretty sure the UPS guy is starting to hate me.

The large box contained the Nyos skimmer. I'm most excited about this as I've heard great things about this skimmer but have yet to see one in person.

Construction is great. Extremely well put together and solid. Cup could be a little bigger but it has a drain so not a big deal. Can't wait to see why nasties it pulls out.

Also received from Ecotech was a pair of quiet drive mp40s. Can't wait to see how these rock the Reef Savvy.

And the last box contained lights, a pair of radion xr30w Pros plus single mounts. This tank will be BRIGHT!!!

One final post. Ecotech Marine included a reef link at no cost. I couldn't be happier as I was about to buy one. Going to be awesome to link everything together.

Yup. It is a nice skimmer Marty. I can't wait to fire it up. I may go stick it in my frag tank to get it "broken" in. I need to take it apart to install the pump and that should give me an idea as to how it works.

My friend Ty stopped over today to help me play with some of the rocks. Going to take these that we have identified and dip them again in muratic. I'm mixing some new and old rocks so I want to remove any pests from the beginning

Looks good. I'm doing a fairly similar thing. I thought of going all crazy and drilling and rodding my rock into some cool shapes but I just never got around to it. I ended up throwing in a few pieces and the layout worked for me. My tallest peak is just below the halfway height of the tank and the rest is at the lower 3rd of the tank. I'm anticipating for vertical growth of SPS

Thanks. Felix said he has started the tank but they had some major storms in Miami which has delayed some production. Still working with Chris Brenner on the stand. Hopefully soon into 2016.
