ok I want to cross my black saddle back and sebae 009 the sebae is 4" and the saddle back is 2 1/2" can I put them in a new tank together with high hopes or should I just get 2 the same size and rase them together

Captive breeding of A. polymnus and/or A. sebae have been few and far between, but possible. Your target species are fairly closely related so that should help.

I would not classify the situation as a "high hope" under any circumstances, but patience and good husbandry tends to win with clown breeding.

with FW I was cross breeding the imposible (steatocranus casuaris+altolamprologus compressiceps"yellow/gold")I'm hopeing for the same luck now that i'm starting breeding SW
