Thank you so much. Would the 110 not create too much water flow? I currently have a really cheap hob filter and a maxi jet 900 (230 GPH) power head. If I replaced the filter, would that be too much water flow?

there is no such thing as too much flow...in my tank above i had the return pump (magdrive5) the tunze6025 (modded) and the koralia2, i was well over 2000gph, an AC110 is not going to be enough flow IMHO...for additional flow i would look into the tunze stream pumps, a vortec mp10, or the koralias...

AQ110 + MaxiJet 1200 isnt enough? I understand that more is better, but isnt there an overkill point?

Aq110 hasn't come in yet. But today I converted my MaxiJet 900 from the powerhead setting (230 gph) to the circulation pump setting (1000gph). I know someone above said they had 2k+ gph in their 20g high. However, this created a small sand storm. Any suggestions on how to get the flow without the storm?
