Hey everyone. I'm currently setting up my 3rd reef tank. Currently i have a 54g corner open top reef and a 5.5g AGA desk reef. I'm currently working on a 20g long tank. I've been working on it for the past few weeks. Here are a couple of pics of my current progress. I plan on having Water/Sand/Rocks in by this weekend. Comments......

Tank: 20g Long
Lights: 4 24Watt T-5's w/ Custom Hood
Filter: 2 Aqua Clear 110's
Heater: 100watt

tell us more about the lights. the endcaps look like t12 endcaps, what ballast are you using

you should put in a false wall in the corners and do a filtration system like a cube so you dont have the overflow filters showin...you could put a fuge in one corner and filteration in the other...it would be tiiigghht...it would only take a couple powerheads and some plastic

From one SC 20L to another: Looking Great! Question: are you worried about the finish of your dresser from possible saltwater contact?

Always good to meet a fellow SC Reefer. I'm not worried about the dresser. I've kept tanks on it before and currently have one on my computer desk. Never had a problem.

Your right, that would be sweet, but i'm sticking with my game plan. It's simple enough for me and what i want to do....

Here are a couple of updated pics from today. I got the background put on the tank. Added a 100 watt heater. Did a couple of mods to the AC filters. Added a bag of AragAlive sand and some H2O. Adding Live Rock 1st thing in the morning.

if you wanted, incase you or anyone else is worried about protecting furniture get those thin table placemats with a velvety soft feel to them and put them under your tank..cut to fit..they have all colors..protects real well and will absorb any water that spills instead of it sitting on your wood..cant wait to see what u do with this one lpab......off to investing 4320 hw blahh.
